Production Work
D1 Hockey Broadcast
Maverick Hockey
The Minnesota State Mavericks are a D1 Hockey team in southern Minnesota in a town called Mankato. The college has contracted out their broadcasting role to my alma mater Bethany Lutheran College. During my time in school I have been apart of the Bethany broadcasting family.
In 3.5 years, I have worked a total of 60 games.
I worked 25 games as a camera operator for a lower ice side camera and as the main game camera.
The last 35 games I worked as the A1 the head audio engineer for the broadcast.
As an A1 I had:
5 ice mics for natural rink sounds,
2 announcer mics (pxp, color analyst),
2 replay machines with 4 outputs,
music/soundboard,
and a coach headset.
While I was A1, I had the opportunity to mix 2 games that air live on Fox Sports North+.

Bethany Esports Podcast
A senior project I started in my last semester at school. When I found out that my school was starting an esports team, I jumped at the opportunity to start a podcast series. The experience is very inspiring to me getting to talk with the team members and talking with the staff.
I was the host, editor, audio technician, and producer for the entire project. I learned to schedule record times and edit on a fast turn around with the intent of having an episode weekly.
In this episode I had the opportunity to talk with Eric “Doa” Lonnquist, an alumni at my college and a profession esports shoutcaster.

Stop Motion
While in school, I had the opportunity to work with a multitude of different mediums. This is a stop motion piece set to Emily Dickinson’s poem “Part 4: Time in Eternity X.” This project was low budget of about $10 with most of the other set pieces and equipment coming from the school.
GRAPHICS
Player Graphic Template
The template for the player graphics that will be used in the Bethany Esports team’s promos and posts.
The reason for not having actual player graphics is due to the jerseys not arriving in time for a photoshot before December 2019, the month I graduated.
